Day 3: Busy Freakin’ Day

Too slammed for wart removal update photos today. I’ll try to update as best I can with the time I have.

The process seems to be going along fine. the scab has turned pretty much all black and the healing process has started. This is really the easy part of removing the wart because now I basically just leave it alone and keep away from it until it falls off naturally.

After applying the wart remover you really don’t want to play with the scab or pick it off too early, if you do you can wind up with a scar. The same goes for any kind of spot on your body that is healing really so you just have to use that same restraint and leave it alone.

A friend of mine got a tattoo on his arm and as it started to heal he picked at it and ended up removing part of it with his fingernail, now he has a nice little white spot right in the middle of the tattoo right where he picked at it. With warts it’s the kind of the same deal…

  • Leave wart alone = good
  • Pick at it = bad

Oh, by the way I got a message about genital warts and although that’s not what I’m dealing with I decided to put up a page about it in case there were more questions. Check out the genital wart remover page.

So yeah, now I’ll let it come off naturally and that should be the end of the wart. I’ll try to post another photo of it as soon as I get time, hopefully tomorrow. Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you’re having a great day and thanks for being a part of the live wart remover trial!

Good words today Heath, if you hadn’t said anything I bet I’d have picked at mine while it was healing. I actually know someone who picked at their tattoo too and it came out light in that area as well. Lesson learned!

Darren I’ve seen that on a tattoo before as well. It’s the same thing that happens if you pick the scab during wart removal or tat healing I guess! You have to let that skin heal naturally or you pay the price. ;)
